What do architecture services cover?

Architectural service starts by turning a brief into space and continues through permit and construction documents. The stages are typically: initial brief, concept design (massing, siting, floor plans), zoning and code review, developed design, permit drawings and construction details. Interior design, landscape, 3D visualisation and permit follow-up can be bought separately or as a package.

When you need it: designing a new building, renovation and change of use, siting studies under zoning rules, permit drawings, interior design, as-built survey and restoration projects.

Ask when comparing quotes: which stages are included (concept / developed / construction / permit follow-up), how many revisions, are renderings and models included, who coordinates the structural and MEP designs, delivery format (DWG/PDF/BIM), copyright and usage rights.
