INDUSTRY SOLUTION

Process management and software for car dealerships.

At a dealership, a car's profit is not the sale price minus the purchase price. Until bodywork, tyres, valeting, transport and listing costs are booked to the car, nobody can see which car earned money and which lost it. Tenderely BPM ties purchases, sales and every cost to the car's record, and the system adapts to how your dealership works, not the other way round.

What does a car dealership repeat?

01
Inspection and purchase
A car should be inspected before it is bought; price is discussed after the report, with the notary transfer and payment after that.
02
Costs booked to the car
Bodywork, tyres, valeting, inspections, transport and listing costs should each be booked to the car they belong to.
03
Sales and deposits
A deposit is taken and its validity tracked; a sale should not close until payment or finance, the transfer and the handover are done.
04
Listings and channels
You need to know where a car is listed, how much interest it gets and which channel actually sells cars.
05
Buyer requests
Customers looking for a specific car belong on record, so the call list is ready the moment a matching car comes into stock.
06
Consignment cars
For a car the dealership does not own, the income is a commission, and it must not be counted as profit like your own stock.

Where does this break down today?

Profit is worked out by hand
With costs in a separate book, net profit per car is estimated at month end, and the car that lost money goes unnoticed.
Prices are agreed before inspection
A price given without knowing about painted or replaced panels comes back a few weeks later as a bodywork invoice.
Deposits are forgotten
An expired deposit keeps a car off sale for no reason, and nobody knows which deposits are still valid.
Cars sit in stock
If nobody can see how many days a car has been in stock, capital stays tied up and the pricing decision is delayed.

What changes with Tenderely BPM

01
Net profit comes from the data
Every cost booked to a car adds up on its record, and net profit is calculated from purchase, sale and costs rather than typed in.
02
Purchases are an approval flow
Inspection, purchase price approval, notary transfer and payment follow in order, and price approval cannot come before the inspection.
03
A sale closes step by step
Discount approval, payment or finance, notary transfer and handover run in order, and the file does not close before the car is handed over.
04
Stock and sales on the dashboard
Cars for sale, capital in stock, net profit by make, sales per salesperson and interest per channel read off the dashboard, with a weekly summary sent automatically.
05
Alerts send themselves
Expiring deposits, cars in stock for 60 days, high costs booked to a car and new buyer requests trigger in-app, e-mail, SMS or push notifications.
FAQ

Is there a ready-made dealership setup?

+
Yes. The Car Dealership package installs with forms, purchase and sales workflows, dashboards and reports. Forms arrive as drafts and automations start switched off, so you adjust them to your dealership and then publish.

Can we keep consignment cars separate?

+
Yes. A car the dealership does not own is marked as consignment with its owner on record, and the dealership's income from the sale is tracked as commission.

Do salespeople see their own work?

+
Yes. Inspection, price approval and handover steps go to the person assigned. Unit-, role- and field-level permissions decide who sees what.
