INDUSTRY SOLUTION

Process management and software for construction.

What happens on site is already stale by the time it reaches the office. Which works are complete, what is the subcontractor claiming, was that material approved. Tenderely BPM puts site and office on the same record: the field writes from a phone, approval comes from the office.

Isometric illustration of site works and valuation tracking on a construction project

What does a contractor repeat?

01
Site diary
Weather, headcount, works done and materials received belong in a daily record; a diary written from memory later is not evidence.
02
Works and measurement
Measured quantities are the basis of every valuation. Without a record, the valuation becomes a negotiation.
03
Subcontractor valuations
Each subcontractor's contract, progress and deductions need separate tracking; lumped together, they invite disputes.
04
Material requests and approval
Requests from site must pass approval by value; an unapproved order overruns the budget quietly.
05
Safety and site inspections
Findings need photographs on the record; an unclosed finding is simply written again at the next inspection.
06
Labour and timesheets
Who was on which site on which day — without a record, both wages and valuations are argued over.

Where does this break down today?

The diary is written by hand
A paper site book reaches the office once a week. In a dispute, a diary whose dates cannot be trusted carries little weight.
Valuations are negotiated in spreadsheets
Quantities and deductions live in separate files, so every valuation period is recalculated and re-argued.
Material approval happens by phone
Site calls, the manager says yes. The overrun shows at month-end, but who approved what cannot be found.
Safety findings are not tracked
A photo lands in a chat group and nobody knows whether it was closed, so the same finding reappears.

What changes with Tenderely BPM

01
A dated diary from the field
The site diary is filled in on a phone; photo, location and timestamp are part of the record and cannot be back-written.
02
Valuations follow measurement
Because works and quantities are recorded, the valuation falls out of the data, with progress and deductions visible per subcontractor.
03
Approval branches on value
A material request above your threshold goes to a manager. The rule lives in the flow, so nobody has to remember it.
04
Findings stay open until closed
A safety finding is a step: it goes to the person responsible, carries a deadline, and does not leave the list until it is closed.
05
The office sees it now
What was done on which site, which request is waiting, which finding is open — on a dashboard, not in a weekly report.
FAQ

Can site teams work without a signal?

+
The form runs in the iOS and Android apps and records sync as soon as there is a connection. Because photo and location are part of the record, they stand as data from that moment rather than as a document attached later.

Can we bring subcontractors into the system?

+
Yes. A subcontractor connects as a linked external user and sees only their own works and valuation step, never another subcontractor's data. Alternatively they can submit through a public form link.

Can we build the valuation calculation in the system?

+
Yes. Formulas, conditional fields and row tables are configured without code, so quantities, rates and deductions are calculated on the same record. The approval chain is part of the same flow.
