Human resources processes in one flow.

HR runs on a handful of processes that repeat constantly, and they all jam in the same place: approval. The leave form sits on a desk, the new starter's file stays incomplete, the leaver's laptop never comes back. Tenderely BPM builds these flows without code.

Isometric illustration of recruitment and candidate assessment

What does an HR process repeat?

01
Leave and absence
Request, balance check, manager approval, record. The most repeated process and the one that waits longest.
02
Hiring
Advert, candidates, interview stages, decision. When a candidate's stage is invisible, good people are lost to waiting.
03
Employee files
Contract, identity, qualifications, health checks — missing paperwork surfaces at an audit, not on day one.
04
Assets
Laptop, phone, vehicle, access card. Without a record of who has what, nothing comes back at the end.
05
Performance and training
Review cycles and completed training need recording, or promotion decisions rest on impressions.
06
Offboarding
Returning assets, closing access, final paperwork — skip one step and the risk stays with the company.

Where does this break down today?

The leave form waits on a desk
Paper or e-mail joins the manager's queue. The employee takes the leave and the approval is completed later, or never.
Balances are calculated by hand
Remaining days live in a spreadsheet, and the number the employee sees rarely matches the one HR sees.
Candidates are left hanging
A candidate with no reply after an interview is forgotten, because the process is invisible.
Assets vanish at exit
Because who has what is scattered, the device that never came back is noticed a month later.

What changes with Tenderely BPM

01
Approval is a step
The request goes to the manager with a deadline and warns if unanswered. Approvals stop waiting in an inbox.
02
Balances come from the record
Days used and remaining are calculated by formula, so the employee and HR see the same number.
03
Hiring stages are visible
Each candidate is a record and each stage a step, so who is waiting where sits on a dashboard.
04
Assets attach to the person
A device issued is linked to the employee's record, and offboarding does not finish until the return step closes.
05
Approve from a phone
The same flow runs in the iOS and Android apps, so approvals move while a manager is travelling.
FAQ

Can the system calculate leave balances?

+
Yes. Entitlement, days used and days remaining are defined with formulas and no code, and the balance shows on the record when a request opens. If the rule changes, you change the formula.

Can we reproduce our own approval chain?

+
Yes. Steps such as line manager, department head and HR, plus conditional branching and delegation, are configured without code. Leave beyond a certain length can route to an extra approver.

Is employee data safe?

+
Data is kept private to your company, and unit-, role- and field-level permissions decide who sees what. Mark the employee file as sensitive and every view is logged.
